Aubrey Lace Taylor is a New York based Actor, Comedian, and Preschool Drama teacher.
Growing up in a military family, Aubrey became used to relocation and exploration at an early age. She matured in diverse environments, ranging from the South border of Arizona to Germany. This resulted in a constant celebration of cultural differences, and Aubrey’s unique perspective of the human condition. As an adolescent, she found herself invested in all facets of live performance, with a distinct interest in comedy and storytelling. The reciprocation of laughter and the joy of collaboration between the audience and her peers became a fast addiction, leading her to her current artistic path.
After competing at the national level through the Seattle Repertory and Atlanta’s True Colors Theatre in New York City, Aubrey followed a full ride scholarship to Circle in the Square Conservatory. Professional training in classical text, clown work, and vocal performance has allowed Aubrey to invest these talents in professional Children’s Theatre and Shakespearean productions. Favorite roles include Gretchen (Boeing, Boeing), Baker's Wife (Into the Woods), MacDuff (Macbeth), and Vladimir (Waiting for Godot).
Currently, when Aubrey is not performing in the Off-Broadway hit show Drunk Shakespeare, you can find her leading and facilitating drama classes for children in NYC private preschools and community centers.
